Our signature ultimate camp program returns this year, welcoming all of our new and returning families and staff! As we did in 2024, this sell-out all-star camp will feature daily ultimate play and instruction, groupings divided by age and experience, off-field activities and social time, and access to the beautiful St. Stephen’s fields, outdoor swimming pool, and dining hall. We’re bringing back our half-day, full-day, and overnight options, as well as our application-based Elite Division for players seeking an especially high-level, competitive program.

Due to the rising cost of insurance, field and dormitory rentals, athletic training services, lifeguard compensation, and more, we regrettably have to increase our registration fees this year in order to maintain the same high-quality experience for our ultimate players and campers. However, we continue to offer scholarship options and reduced rates to ensure that cost is not a barrier for kids to play and join us at camp. Hi again, TUSC365 Players and Families!
I hope the summer has continued to be healthy, fun, and restful for all of you. Thanks so much for helping us kick it off with two incredible weeks of camp in June! We loved seeing all of you on and off the field. Our annual flagship program summer camp always calls me to reflect the growth and character of our ultimate community in Austin (and beyond). This year we had outstanding players from outside Austin as well – including our neighbors in Houston and as far away as Arkansas! It’s such a privilege to see these young players discover (or fall more in love with) our sport, to watch returning players expand their game, welcome former campers to our coaching staff, and get to know everyone not only as impressive athletes and commendable people. TUSC 2024 was no exception; our campers and staff reminded me once again about the Spirit, talent, community-building, and stellar competition that we see in our sport and in these youth players. Thanks for being such supportive ultimate families and for sharing in that joy with us!

Happy Belated TUSC365 Day! Last year we were surprised on our last day of camp with a proclamation from Mayor Kirk Watson, announcing June 23rd as the official Texas Ultimate Summer Camp Day! I celebrated the day in Philadelphia, with some of our inspiring coaches and former players as the Austin Torch (our local women’s and non-binary pro team!) competed in their first-ever Premier Ultimate League Championship Weekend. It was a celebratory way to finish the season with TUSC coaches and former players Shiru, Olympia, Summer, Madi, Mindy, Jaime, Duffy, Amy, Dre, Franke, and AWalk, and I’m so proud to see the talent in Austin – from our youth players and coaches alike – on display.
On a similar note, congratulations to Coach Taylor and Coach Vance (both former TUSC campers!), who played in their first-ever professional ultimate game with the Austin Sol on Saturday, June 15th! We loved cheering you on with the crowd, along with past and present TUSC coaches and alumni Jacob, Elliott, Evan, Noah, Kyle, Kade, Chris, Jake, Josh, and more. Check out these coaches (and their talented teammates) in their next home game against Atlanta Hustle this Saturday, June 29th!
As the summer continued, we LOVED seeing two of Austin’s club teams — packed with TUSC coaches and alumni! — show out at competitive tournaments across the country! Austin Disco Club, featuring coaches Madi, Jaime, Chris, Kyle, JC, and Brianna, won Pro Elite Challenge East in the mixed division over the weekend of July 12-13. They were closely followed by Austin Vengeance, who claimed the crown in the women’s and non-binary division at Pro Flight Challenge East crown on July 28th, led by coaches Mindy, Summer, Duffy, Amy, Katie, Olympia, Rachel, and Sierra! Congratulations to all of these inspiring athletes and leaders!
Good luck to our local YCC teams - Texas Tango (U20 Girls & Non-Binary), Texas United (U20 Boys & Non-Binary), and Double Trouble (U17 Boys & Non-Binary) - as they compete at Nationals in Colorado over the weekend of August 3-4! You may have noticed that we incorporated skills and strategies from these teams at camp … We’re so proud to support and be a jersey sponsor for y’all, and can’t wait to cheer on all of our TUSC players, coaches, and their teammates! Work hard, have fun, take pictures, and show your Spirit, y’all! We know you will!

TUSC365 Summer Camp 2023 - Recap & Thank You!
I hope the summer was healthy, fun, and restful for all of you. Thanks so much for helping us kick it off with two incredible weeks of camp in June! We loved seeing all of our 200+ youth players (and 25+ coaches and staff!) on and off the field. And how about that PROCLAMATION FROM MAYOR KIRK WATSON!? What a wonderful surprise on the last day of camp this year. Thanks so much to the parents who made that happen. I can’t wait to celebrate the second official “Texas Ultimate Summer Camp Day” on June 23rd, 2024!
Camp always inspires me to reflect on how special our youth ultimate community truly is. It’s such a privilege to see so many young players discover our sport, to watch returning players on their journeys over the years (including those who return to coach with us as adults!), and to get to know everyone not only as athletes but also such impressive people. Year after year, I’m reminded why I love being a part of the youth ultimate community in Austin and beyond. It’s been exciting to watch more youth players fall in love with our sport - and develop as players and people - over the last two decades.
